Page lists our travels from 2003 to present. A great
resource
on where we have boondocked.

After going to
Tucson
for a Dr. appointment we had a picnic at Saguaro National Park in east
Tucson.
Stopped and got a
couple
of Subways and off we went. Now some pic of the spring plant
life.
It is still a bit early but things
were
starting to bloom.

Must be the right day to do a
post, me
thinks.
We are still at our winter
vacation spot
in AZ. We do spend time boondocking in Quartzsite in Nov-Dec but not
like
we used to do for the full season. We get back to here for the
Tucson
Gem and Mineral Shows.
The rose garden was here when
we bought
this place and we want to keep it going as if nothing else as a
rememberance
of the former owner. AZ is pretty bleak so this is kind of nice..
Now our back deck which Terry
built and
the hot tub which is SO nice.
Speakin of the Tucson Gem
Shows here a
a pic our good friends who have a vender site at this huge event.
This is just one event site of
like 40
other sites around Tucson. They come from around the world to Tucson.
Our good friends Bob and
Jeanne had a
vendor booth this year at the Kino show site.
We met them many years
ago at the
Quartzsite Rock Club.
Getting the 5th wheel ready
for the summer/fall
travals. Terry has been working on using
This
advanced aggressive, yet safe compound will clean and restore gloss to
the gel coat surface in one step. Removes moderate to heavy oxidation,
scratches, stains and tough water spots. Restores color and leaves a
rich
gloss on the treated surface. Incredible results by hand or machine.
And
let me tell you it works great. We had removed some decals and now you
can't tell where they were at before. On our last 5th wheel we went
through
the sanding the gel coat and more ... This does it all without all that
work.
Aslso using Rhino Shine to
referbish the
bed of our truck. UV had done it's thing and painting on this
retories
the shine. I had done this years ago and it needed it again. I does
restore
to like new.
When we are here we get our
Dr appointments
done. So have completed visits to Eye Dr., Teeth cleaning,
Wellness
physicals, Renal Dr., Cardiologists, and
Electrophysiologist
Heart Dr., (I have asystematic A-Fib). After the visit to
my
EP I now have a secehuled procedure for a Medtronic Arctic Front
Advance
ST Cryoballoon for A-Fib on April 11. This is where they go up through
my leg to my heart (much like putting in heart stint) but in this case
they position a baloon which inflates
and fills with coolant ( about -70 deg) to ablate the tissue where the
pulmonary veins enter the left atrium.
I am looking forward to this
as it is
a elective procedure. It used to the last choice for this condition
but
this new procedure is more like a first choice procedure. They used to
use RF to burn the parts of the heart but with this they freeze which
only
takes about 2 hours unlike the other was more like 4-6 hours. I take
meds
to stop me from going into A-Feb and after this hope to get off of them.
We went to the 44th Anunal
4th Ave Street
Fair in Tucson today. They get about 300,000 people over three days at
this event. It is a big deal. And a fubulious time to be sure. People
watching
at it's best. And I was having so mush fun I didn't event snap pics on
may smartphone. It was a mass of people . You just sort of move with
the
crowd. The best part is you can park west of I-10 and take the
SunLink
Electric Street Trolly right to the south end of the event.
Parking
not a problem as with free parking just hop on the trolly for $4 for a
round trip. Money well spent...
Walked
for blocks and blocks which I am not used to doing. Did stop time to
time
to rest and people watch.
This goes on for many blocks.
4th Ave Street Fasir
combines old and
new.
St. Cinder- "Salty Dog
Blues" at the
Street Fair You willl want to replay
this many
times.
Now some FUN videos... I
think you will
love watching...
